The Hard Pen Calligraphy Competition is designed to promote the history and culture of Chinese calligraphy, inspire students’ interest in Chinese language and culture, and help students develop neat, accurate handwriting habits. Judges evaluated each submission based on character form, stroke technique, structure, and overall layout, selecting the most artistically accomplished pieces.

The competition was hosted by Georgia Chinese Language Educators (GCLE), a non-profit educational organization that supports Chinese language and culture educators from Pre-K through university level across the state of Georgia. GCLE promotes high-quality Chinese language education through teacher training, school program support, student and teacher networking, and community events.

Mandarin Chinese Instructor Yingli Zhang and the entire TCS community are proud of all the students who participated and commend them for their dedication, effort, and achievement. Congratulations to all!
