In addition to Building Character and Community lessons with every class, TCS Counselor Natalie is offering additional support for students and parents who need it. Click here to download Natalie’s resource page with tips for families coping with COVID-19.

Parent Consultation
Director of Lower School Student Life Morgan Darby, Director of Upper School Student Life Erin Joyner and Natalie have set up virtual parent consultations for parents who would like to discuss ideas and strategies for managing your child’s at-home learning experience.

Here is the schedule for the virtual meet-ups:

  • Lower School: Fri., March 27 at 11:00 a.m. on Google Hangouts. RSVP to morgand@tcsatl.org if you plan to attend that meeting and she will send the link to join on Thursday.
  • Upper School: Tues., March 31 at 12 on Google Hangouts. RSVP to erinj@tcsatl.org if you plan to attend that meeting and she will send the link to join before Thursday.

Individual Student Support
Natalie is available to check in with students who need brief, solution-focused support in dealing with a challenge or concern they are having. Here is what to know about individual student check-ins with me during the campus closure:

  • Students in Early Learning – grade 2 will need a teacher or parent to email Natalie (natalieg@tcsatl.org) to let her know of the need to check-in and to work with her to arrange a time for the check-in.

  • Students in grades 3 – 8 can refer themselves using the link here.
