We’re excited to welcome Dale Ioannides back to The Children’s School as our new 1st grade associate teacher!
Dale worked at TCS from 2012–2018 as a kindergarten and second grade teacher and then as our digital literacy coach. She supported teachers in creating engaging lessons, guided students in using technology to show their learning, and brought warmth and creativity to every corner of campus.
Her career in education spans decades and locations, from teaching on a Navajo Reservation in New Mexico to the heart of Newark, New Jersey, and across Georgia. Most recently, she worked as a literacy coach in Atlanta Public Schools and as a national coach for teachers with HMHco.
Her connection to TCS runs deep—her son Nicholas was part of our very first graduating 8th grade class! Dale and her family have been longtime TCS champions, and she’s thrilled to return to the community.
Outside of school, Dale enjoys pickleball, kayaking, hiking, walking the Beltline, and running her nonprofit, School Is In, which supports Title 1 teachers in under-resourced schools.
We’re so glad to welcome Dale back home to TCS, where she’ll bring her expertise, energy, and love for our students to 1st grade!
