Celebrating the Class of 2026!

Every year, we ask our graduating eighth graders to pause, look back, and reflect on their journey at The Children’s School. This year’s reflections are a powerful reminder of what makes TCS special, and of the remarkable young people who are ready to take their next step in their learning journey.

Across their answers, clear themes emerge: a deep sense of belonging, the courage to be themselves, and the confidence to speak up, ask questions, and lead with empathy. The Class of 2026 talks about learning to be flexible when things don’t go as planned, to treat others with respect and kindness, and to see mistakes not as failures, but as opportunities for growth. They describe a community where teachers are approachable, friendships are meaningful, and everyone is encouraged to contribute.

As they wrap-up their TCS journey, we celebrate not just what these students have accomplished, but who they have become. TCS graduates consistently go on to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in high school because they leave with more than knowledge. They carry with them essential skills: self-advocacy, collaboration, time management, integrity, and a strong sense of community.

We couldn’t be prouder of this class and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow, lead, and make their mark beyond TCS.

Q: If you could give advice to younger TCS students, what would you say?
A: If I could give advice to younger TCS students I would tell them not to be afraid to speak up for themselves.
