Andi is joining The Children’s School as a speech-language pathologist in the newly expanded Learning Strategies and Academic Support department. She’s originally from Chicago, but has lived in metro Atlanta for over 35 years. Before joining TCS, Andi worked with children in numerous medical and educational settings as a speech-language pathologist with the most recent being in Cobb County School District where she worked for 12 years. When she’s not working, Andi enjoys being with family, planning the next vacation, and cooking.
What are you most excited about this year?
I’m most excited about bringing my years of communication expertise to the learning team at TCS and to work collaboratively with all the teachers to best help the students in their learning process.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Anywhere I can explore new cultures, new languages, new adventures. Still on my bucket list: South Africa, Croatia, Portugal and New Zealand.
Which fictional character would you most like to meet?
Dr. Doolittle, of course, to witness and learn about communicating with animals.
