About Emilie
I was born in Ontario, Canada, but have lived in Arizona since the age of 12. My husband and I moved to Atlanta last year so he could attend Georgia Institute of Technology. This is my fifth year teaching Early Childhood Education.
What are you most excited about this year?
This year, I’m most excited about getting to know all of my new students and helping them develop as individuals.
When you’re not at school, where can we find you?
My husband and I love being outdoors. We hike, camp, rock climb, and like to visit state and national parks. I also enjoy traveling and getting to experience different cultures.
Where is your favorite vacation spot?
My favorite vacation spot is Épinal, France where my mother was born. Getting to see my extended family is special treat.
Which fictional character would you most like to meet?
If I could meet any fictional character, I would like to meet Miss Fizzle from the “Magic School Bus” and go on adventures with her.
