Coach Rob: Register Now for TCS Athletics!

IMG_4363

This past May, we made a big announcement: sports are coming to TCS! After surveying parents to find out which sports you wanted, we decided on cross country (fall), basketball (winter) and soccer(spring). Now, the time has finally come to register for cross country and basketball!

Not only will student-athletes proudly wear their school uniform on competition days and have the opportunity to win championships, but they will grow, gain skills, and improve their fitness levels through maximum participation to achieve their athletic goals!

Cross country is the first sport TCS students will take on. Practice starts this Tues., Aug. 23, and our first meet is Sept. 30!

TCS Cross Country
Practices take place in Piedmont Park and are set for Tuesdays (3:15 – 4:30 p.m.) and Thursdays (4:15- 5:30 p.m.). Saturday practice is an optional practice day and will only be used as a makeup day if practice is rained out. You’ll receive notification if a Saturday practice is needed. Meets will take place on Sept. 30, Oct. 14 and Oct. 28 (tentative time is 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.). The deadline to register is Sept. 9. The cost to register is $250 which includes a uniform (shoes are NOT included) and a snack during each practice.
