Fifth Graders Help Teach Piedmont Park Visitors About Native Trees

TCS fifth graders wrapped up a year-long study of native trees this week. As a final step in the project, the students placed 14 signs next to 11 different native tree species in Piedmont Park. Each sign includes the common tree name and a QR code. If you use a QR reader on a smart device capable of accessing the internet without a wireless signal, you can watch the fifth graders “independently” written and produced short videos about that tree. If you can’t make it out to Piedmont Park to check out the trees in person, you can click here
to watch the videos. Great job!
