TCS will be host a service learning day on Dec. 3 focused on hunger and homelessness. We have invited organizations to come speak to our children about hunger and homelessness and about how families can help. Please join our community effort to make a difference for people experiencing homelessness.
Here’s how you can help:
- Sign up to volunteer during the event on Dec. 3.
- Participate in our community-wide drive to collect wish list supplies for neighbor organizations who serve homeless populations. We will collect toiletries, diapers, linens, travel-size toiletries, gently used shoes, new socks, new underwear, canned goods, blankets and individually wrapped snacks.
- Join us Dec. 3, 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. to learn ways you can help organizations who serve homeless populations, and help us make sandwiches to distribute to organizations.
Students have been learning about responsibility and cooperation. We’re asking everyone to pitch in on this effort to care for and respect people experiencing homelessness and/or hunger in our community.
