There are a few items to bring to your attention as you review the calendar:

We’ve wrapped the classroom meet-and-greet into the first day of school on Mon., Aug. 13. You will drop off your child(ren) for the first day as a normal carpool. Early Learning Program students (3’s/4’s and 4’s/5’s) will attend school from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with parents dropping into the classroom.

Winter break will start later and end later (Dec. 21 – Jan. 4). This brings us into alignment with other local independent and public schools.

We’ve added two Report Writing Days (Nov. 5 and April 8). These are professional days for our teachers when they’ll be on campus, but the school is closed for students. These days allow our teachers to collaborate on your child’s progress report and eliminates the need to hire substitutes for each individual teacher’s writing days over a 4-5 week period each semester, providing students with a more consistent classroom experience.

In the calendar’s lower-left corner, you’ll see the publication date. If we need to update the calendar, we’ll change the date to say “Revised on” so you know if and when the calendar has been updated. You can always find the most up-to-date calendar on the website on the homepage, in the Calendar section, and in the My TCS section.
