New Face Around Our Space: Mark Lang

About Mark

I’ve been a project superintendent for 28 years. I grew up in Brookhaven. I’ve been married to my wife (Michelle) for 31 years. We have a daughter (Meghan) who is 27 years old and is a high school physics teacher at Lambert High School in Forsyth County. We also have a son (Sam) who is 23 years old and is an equipment rental salesman for Hertz Equipment. My job is to manage all of the field work for the school during the construction project, from groundbreaking to the final inspections. I’ll coordinate all of the work in the field with the architects, engineers, building inspectors and all sub contractors. I’ll also be your full time on-site contact if any issues come up.

What are you most excited about with this project?

I’m excited about being a part of the team for The Children’s School’s growth and the relationships that we will also build while we are here.

When you’re not at TCS, where can we find you?

When I’m not working I like to fish, play golf, and spend time with my family .

Have you ever worked at a school before? If so, which one?

I just recently finished a project at Fellowship Christian School in Roswell. We renovated their elementary and middle school building.

What is your favorite elementary school memory?

I have many great memories of my days in elementary school: playing little league football and basketball, being a boy scout, and making friendships with people that I still have today.
