Danielle was a long-term sub in third grade last year. This year, she’s making third grade her permanent home! Read on to learn more about Danielle.

About Danielle
I’m an avid adventurer and curious explorer. I’m always looking for ways to challenge myself, both intellectually and physically.

What were you like in third grade?
I remember being shy in third grade. I was goofy and very talkative with my friends, but I was shy in front of the whole class. I also liked to play outside a LOT. We would climb trees, play freeze tag, wall ball, SPUD, cops and robbers, kick the can, etc. And even though I’m an adult now, I STILL love to play!
What can TCS third graders expect to learn and do this year?
Third graders can expect to be challenged and learn how to work collaboratively to build a positive classroom community, so that each student may reach his/her full potential. We will do fun science experiments, writing projects and much more!
What are you most excited about this year?
I’m excited about so many things! I’m excited to be in such a great space with lots of natural light. I’m excited to learn from my students and peers and grow in my profession. I’m excited to find out what passions drive my students, and mostly, I’m excited to go camping!
What are your favorite pizza toppings?
Ham and pineapple. The pineapple makes me feel a little better about eating the pizza.
