Talal gives EPIC students their first clue during “Escape the Campus.”
TCS Extended Day had a great first week of school! We launched our EPIC program for our fourth – sixth graders, welcomed some new faces and had a ton of fun.
Yesterday, the EPIC students took project based learning to a new level when they tried to “escape the campus!” Much like “Escape the Room” – a collaborative game where a group uses clues to try to escape a room – the kids used clues to work together to try to get off the TCS campus. In the process, they learned a lot about teamwork; worked together to solve problems; and had an amazing time!
This week was just the start of an awesome year ahead for the EPIC students! We have a lot more STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activities, like Nexplore, and opportunities to collaborate for the EPIC students this year.
Register here for Extended Day programs, and come see for yourself what EPIC and Discovery (extended day for pre-primary – third grade students) is all about during our Extended Day Open House Week, Aug. 29 – Sept. 2.
See you there!
